The ultimate superbike

Ducati’s adventure in the world of Superbikes started many years ago, it was 1987 and the 851 was born, the first bike from Borgo Panigale equipped with an L-twin engine and with desmodromic timing, but with four valves per cylinder and cooling to liquid. Since then, the evolution has passed through models that have made history and that have won on racetracks around the world beating the Japanese four-cylinder, and the Panigale is the latest in chronological order to belong to this dynasty. Compared to those that preceded it, the Panigale is the first not equipped with a tubular steel trellis frame in keeping with tradition, but a monocoque structure.

The Bolognese superbike is produced in two variants of 955 cc “normal” and Corse and in a more professional R Final Edition 1.285 dedicated to those who appreciate strong sensations and are certainly not within everyone’s reach. The 955s are light and easy to handle, equipped with a Brembo monobloc braking system with ABS, slipper clutch, advanced electronic management and 150 horsepower. The Final Edition has even more professional equipment and reaches 209 HP.
